Evelyn Harry

December 26, 1962 ~ October 25, 2021 (age 58)

Obituary

Evelyn Denise Harry, loving mother of three, grandmother of nine, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered eternal life at the age of 58 on Monday, October 25th, 2021.

Evelyn was born on December 26, 1962 to Charles Arnold Jr. and Arlene Falkquay and professed a belief in Christ throughout her earthly journey. She was preceded in death by her sister Valerie Falkquay, aunts Brenda Sue Moore and Valencia Hutchinson, and uncle Theodore Roach Jr.

Evelyn, the life of the party, was a complete joy to be around and thus connected with many different people throughout her life. She was known for her love of music. Her favor song was “Never Would Have Made It”, by Marvin Sapp. She would often simply sit in her car and just listen to her favorite song. She loved fashion and good Mexican food, especially from her favorite restaurant Amaya’s Taco Village. To know Evelyn was to know kindness, love, and FUN.

Evelyn always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild were her world and she was happiest when her family surrounded her.

Evelyn maintained a positive attitude throughout her illness and showed more concern for her family than for herself. On October 25, 2021, Evelyn’s journey on earth ended and she went on to begin her new life with her Heavenly Father. She leaves to cherish her memory mother Arlene Falkquay, father Charles Arnold Jr, step-father Pastor John Falkquay, Aunt LaTosha Alexander, Barbara Godwin, and Ann Roach, siblings Charlotte Arnold, Ambrosia Arnold, Charles Arnold III, John Arnold, Alanda Falkquay, John Val Falkquay Jr., Ron Falkquay, and Tanya Westbrook. Her beautiful daughters Mary Ann Arnold, Samantha Arnold, and LaToya Arnold, grandchildren Ambrishon Curry, Larenz Dante Curry, Jonathan Arnold, Amari Morrison, Kambria Arnold-Harvey, Amayah Morrison, Alyxandrea Morrison, Karizma Nobles, and Kameron Nobles, her treasured great grandson Messiah Curry-Jones and a host of family and friends.
